Course Overview – 16 Weeks

What This Course Is


Healing Through Art is a 16-week guided creative program designed to help you process emotions, reduce stress, and reconnect with yourself through structured art-based exercises. The exercises are designed student will submit one exercise per week so each module has two weeks of exercises..

This is not a traditional art course focused on technique or skill. It is a practical, experience-based program that uses creativity as a tool for emotional expression, reflection, and personal awareness.

What You Will Do


Over 16 weeks, you will be guided through carefully designed exercises that help you:


• Explore and express emotions that may be difficult to put into words

• Reduce stress and mental overload through creative release • Build awareness of your thoughts, patterns, and emotional responses

• Develop a consistent, calming creative practice you can use in everyday life


How It Works


Each session focuses on doing, not just learning. You will actively create using prompts and exercises that are simple, accessible, and adaptable to your own pace and comfort level.

You do not need any artistic experience. This program is designed for beginners and anyone looking for a practical, creative way to support their emotional well-being.

By the end of the program, you will have a collection of personal artwork and a set of creative tools you can return to whenever you need clarity, calm, or release.

 

What This Course Is Not


• Not a traditional art class

• Not lecture-based or passive learning

• Does not replace professional therapy or medical advice

Techniques You’ll Explore


Abstract art, collage, drawing, watercolour, and an introduction to sculpture. No experience needed to begin.

 

Class Format


Self-paced modules you complete on your own time. Zoom care live and part of your course, it is for 2 hours every Saturday with demonstrations, tools, tips, and Q&A.

Art Supplies


Students are responsible for their own art supplies. A detailed list is provided upon enrollment

Class formats

Our classes are self-based courses each module can be done at your own pace. There is a schedule for Zoom classes which are for 2 hours every Saturday.  There will be demonstrations,  great tools and tips, lots of information,  time for question and answers, it'll be a great time.
